Day 1: Fairbanks, Alaska - Tour Begins
Your tour begins in Fairbanks, in the great state of Alaska. What better way to explore such a vast and undisturbed region than with a Collette vacation that combines the best of both land and sea, highlighted by accommodations confirmed in a balcony cabin, on an unforgettable 7-night Princess cruise!

Day 2: Fairbanks
Begin your day on an amazing cruise aboard the popular Stern Wheeler, Discovery, an unforgettable journey showcasing Alaska’s diverse culture and rich history. The remainder of your day is at leisure to discover Alaska’s second largest city on your own.

Day 3: Fairbanks - Denali National Park
Depart Fairbanks for a scenic motorcoach ride to Denali National Park. Tonight, enjoy an entertaining evening at the Music of Denali Dinner Theater which tells the story of the first ascent of Mount McKinley.

Day 4: Denali
This morning, join a park expert and embark on a natural history tour into Denali National Park. This tour teaches you about the six million acres that make up this pristine wilderness. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but you may be lucky enough to view some wildlife as well! The remainder of your day is at leisure.Map

Day 5: Denali Rail Station - Whittier - Board Cruise Ship
Transfer to the rail station and ride the Denali Express direct to Whittier for an unforgettable journey. As you relax in the Domed car, the views are so spectacular that you feel as though you can touch the sky. Be on the lookout for bald eagles, bears, whales and more! Once in Whittier, embark the ship to begin your 7-night cruise aboard Princess’s Island or Coral. The Island Princess is a fabulous floating resort designed to make your stay onboard truly memorable. You will be dazzled by the entertainment in the state-of-the-art lounges and a myriad of dining options. The Coral Princess is a luxurious way to escape completely, with all the amenities for an amazing cruise. It features an impressive array of dining options, as well as a European-style casino, cigar lounge and retro martini bar. Day 6: Cruising - Hubbard Glacier
Your ship cruises past the mammoth Hubbard Glacier, Alaska’s only advancing glacier. Your day is filled with amazing natural sights as you linger along its shimmering five-mile long face.

Day 7: Cruising - Glacier Bay
Cruise through Glacier Bay, a spectacular national park and preserve that is a treasure trove of tidewater glaciers and scenic coastal islands. Its rich world of marine life and large concentration of tidewater glaciers is Alaska at its best.

Day 8: Cruising - Skagway
Relive Alaska's Gold Rush days in this “Gateway to the Klondike” and home of the famed Chilkoot Trail. In historic Skagway, Alaska’s past lives on in a spectacular natural setting and cries of “gold in the Yukon!” can still be heard.

Day 9: Cruising - Juneau
From massive scenic mountains to historic buildings, explore Juneau, Alaska’s gorgeous capital city with something for everyone.

Day 10: Cruising - Ketchikan
Your port of call today is Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the “City of Totems.” Located on the tranquil Revillagigedo Island, Ketchikan is home to the world’s largest collection of totem poles.

Day 11: Cruising - Inside Passage
A wonderful day of sightseeing is in store for you as your ship sails along the amazing Inside Passage, an extensive stretch of land known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. You will be awe-struck with this natural wonder.

Day 12: Vancouver, B.C. - Disembark Cruise - Seattle, WA Airport Area
Your cruise ends in the vibrant city of Vancouver. Choose an optional city tour featuring Stanley Park, Chinatown and Gastown, home to the world-famous steam-powered clock. Or, explore this lovely city on your own. Next, board your coach for your drive to the Seattle airport area for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Seattle Airport Area - Tour Ends

Glacier Dog Sled Tour $500 
City: Juneau, AK  
Board a helicopter and enjoy stunning vistas in every direction as you fly over the Juneau Ice Field and onward to the Dog Camp. Enter this great home many Alaskan Huskies, and learn all about the Camp during a tour of the kennels. Hear personal stories about the Iditarod and unique backcountry experiences. The fun continues you when you enjoy a dog sled ride! Glacier boots will be provided for this unforgettable experience that is sure to make you feel just like a real Alaskan. Note that there is a short walk from the ship to the tour bus. Please note: this tour is available mid-May through mid-August. You must give your exact weight at the time of booking. This optional tour must be purchased when you receive your documents.

Misty Fjords Flightseeing $259

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Misty Fjord National Monument, a 2.3 million acre park carved by glaciers ages ago. On this flight seeing tour, soar over majestic fjords, cascading waterfalls, and jewel-like lakes to discover some of Alaska’s most spectacular scenery. Sheer walls of granite rise over 3,000 feet comprising a truly awe-inspiring sight. Keep your eyes open for mountain goats, bears, deer, wolves, whales and bald eagles. Land on a wilderness lake and step onto the floats of your seaplane to experience the Alaska wilderness in a truly remote setting. Just don’t forget your camera for this amazing experience! Please note: Actual flight time is approximately 90 minutes.

Juneau's Best $40

Hop aboard for a comprehensive narrated bus tour through Juneau’s history and sights, enhanced by experienced guides. As you journey through downtown Juneau, visit Mendenhall Glacier, University of Alaska, Chapel by the Lake, protected wetlands, and other local sights, regale in the history and colorful local lore of Alaska’s unique capital. Spend 45 minutes viewing Mendenhall Glacier on your own. Visit the USFS Visitor Center for more in-depth information on the Glacier.  
Note that there is a short walk from the ship to the tour bus. Please note: During weddings, the Chapel by the Lake is closed to the general public.

Village of Saxman & Wildlife Tour $59

Get ready for a fascinating tour of Saxman Village – Ketchikan’s largest totem park that boasts twenty-nine authentic totems carved by Tlingit and Haida natives. Learn of the history and meaning behind their creation. Then, visit Herring Bay, a charming area far removed from bustling city life. In this small inlet cove, discover sights and sounds of the beautiful wildlife of Ketchikan. During salmon season, you may spot some wildlife. Then, visit Rainbow Falls, immersing yourself in true serenity; a 100-foot waterfall glistens amidst a rainforest backdrop. This hidden treasure trails you off the beaten ‘tourist’ path. Stroll the infamous Creek Street and capture the essence of Ketchikan's early history. Here, you’ll find the house of Dolly Arthur – once a famous ‘lady of the night.’ Her home is now a museum that you can visit on your own.

Helicopter & Glacier Walk $275

Nothing compares to the total exhilaration of soaring above some of the most incredible scenery the world offers. Board a helicopter for the adventure of a lifetime as you fly over Mendenhall Glacier, Juneau’s Ice Field and breathtaking mountains. Then, your helicopter will land on a glacier and your pilot will guide you on an interpretive walk on its surface! Experience the splendor of the city with a comprehensive tour that begins in Stanley Park. See the park’s famous totem poles; each has its own unique story bound to the land on which it stands. Behold Prospect Point – the tallest point in Stanley Park that affords you incredible views of the Lions Gate Bridge and North Shore Mountains. Pass through Chinatown, one of the largest in North America, and also pass through the famous waterfront area of Gastown. A great combination of history and scenery makes this a very enjoyable tour.
