package centers around the natural urge of our Saskatchewan ungulates
to propagate their species. It is a time when the big bulls "throw a
bit of caution to the wind". There is a nip in the air and the smells
are pungent: your legs automatically set in motion to explore the
wilderness!

This
package centres around you learning how to mush, or drive, dogs. Our
past experiences indicated to us that most people like a ride or two on
the dogsled but soon feel like they would like to try to drive the
team. And so this package was born. It runs for a week with no
pressure, no grading, just the thrill of working with Siberian Husky
dogs in Saskatchewan's grand wilderness.

Our
goal in this package is to locate and view timber wolves with use of
sled dogs and by foot. We converse with local trappers and woodsmen to
try to keep bearings on this illusive animal. It is as important for us
to interpret how and where the timber wolf lives. No artificial baits
or unnatural advantages will be used. So keen up all of your senses as
we travel through the boreal forest in search of this wonderful
animal.
