Day One
Arrival into Frank Pais International Airport, Holguin, Cuba.
Meet and greet with guide and transfer to hotel Pinares de Mayari.

Day Two
Spend your day 2,000 feet above sea level amid the Nip Highlands.  Activities will include a tour of the Scientific Research Station, hiking to a local waterfall for a refreshing swim, lunch at a nearby lake and leisure time to explore the area.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel Pinare de Mayari.

Day Three
Depart for Bartolomo Maso with stops at La Plancha and El Guayabo Falls Lookout.  Mid-way into your journey you will stop in the small but charming city of Bayamo to experience hearty local cuisine and a brief city tour.
Dinner and overnight at the Villa Santo Domingo in Bartolomo Maso.

Day Four
Make sure to stretch your leg muscles this morning as today is a full day of hiking.  Head to La Plata, the headquarters of Fidel Castro and his rebels during the Guerilla War in the late 1950’s.  Along the way you will observe not only the history but the vast richness of plant and animal life that is exclusive to this area.
Dinner and overnight at the Villa Santo Domingo.

Day Five
Say goodbye to Bartolomo Masa and hello to Santiago de Cuba, the second most important city in Cuba.  Upon arrival you will have lunch at the Don Antonia Restaurant followed by a sightseeing tour of the city.
Dinner and overnight at the Versalles Hotel.

Day Six
Another full day with an excursion to La Gran Piedra, ‘the big rock’.  Stops along the journey will include the botanical gardens, a tour of a French Coffee Plantation built in the 1700’s, the Moncada and Bacardi Museum, the Cobra Sanctuary and Morro Castle.
Dinner and overnight at the Versalles Hotel.

Day Seven
Depart for the Club Guardalavaca in Guardalavaca stopping along the way for lunch at Mayabe.  Spend your afternoon daydreaming on the beach.

Day Eight
Departure back to the Frank Pais International Airport, Holguin, Cuba.
