Discover Morocco11 day tour of Morocco to include Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez – Marrakesh and Casablanca to name a few.

DAY 1: Saturday - CASABLANCA - Welcome at Mohamed V airport. Assistance & transfer to Casablanca. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: SUNDAY – CASABLANCA-RABAT (95 km) - Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with your tour escort. Visit of the economic capital of Morocco: Mohammed V square, central market, the Habbous District, residential district of Anfa & Ain Diab. Fish lunch at one of the seafront restaurants during which the guide will brief you about your tour. Continuation to Rabat, the white imperial city and the administrative capital of the kingdom. The sightseeing includes the Mechouar (ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the Oudaya Kasbah, the splendid Mohamed V mausoleum, the Hassan tower. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 3: MONDAY – RABAT- FEZ (220 km) - Departure to Meknes, the old medina is surrounded by a triple thickness of 40 km walls and preserves the most beautiful gate of Morocco: the Bab Mansour. Also visit of the Royal stables of Moulay Ismael, the Medina and the Jewish quarter. After lunch, continuation to Fez via the holy city of Moulay Idriss, where the founder of the Islam in Morocco is buried, and visit of the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 4: TUESDAY –  FEZ - After breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the sightseeing of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial cities founded in the 8th century by Moulay Idridd II. Visit of the medieval Medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (religious Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the Medina. Afternoon, visit of Fez Jdid, return back to Fes. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 5: WEDNESDAY - MEKNES/MIDELT/ ERFOUD (450 km) - Departure to Erfoud via the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou, an important handicraft centre. Stop in Midelt for lunch. Continuation to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees, which are the source for the yearly date Festival in Erfoud. Dinner and accommodation in Erfoud.

DAY 6: THURSDAY – ERFOUD/RISSANI/TINGHIR/OUARZAZATE (390 km) - Early morning, an optional jeep excursion to see the sunrise over the sands-dunes of Merzouga. Back to the hotel for breakfast and continuation to Rissani, the holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty is buried. Visit of the kasbah of the 17th century and the Ksar Abbar ruins, and continuation to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Visit of the magnificent Todgha canyons which rocks reach and altitude of 250 meters. Lunch at a restaurant situated at the feet of the canyons and departure to the Dades canyons for a visit and then continuation to Ouarzazate via the road of the thousand kasbahs and the Dades valley famous for its roses and the yearly Moussem (rose Feztival). Visit of the kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and accommodation in Ouarzazate.

DAY 7: FRIDAY -  OUARZAZATE / AIT BENHADDOU/MARRAKESH (230 km) - Visit of the kasbahs of Taouirt Tiffeltout and Ait Benhaddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco, which has served as decor for many films like "Laurence of Arabia". Lunch at the terrace of the restaurant facing the kasbah. Departure to Marrakech via the Tichka pass offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas mountain chain. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
 
DAY 8: SATURDAY – MARRAKESH - The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, known as the pearl of the South. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes the Menara garden, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Saïd museum. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon, visit of the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemâa El Fna with its non stop entertainment. Dinner with fantasia. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 9: SUNDAY - MARRAKESH/ESSAOUIRA (160 km) - Morning at leisure and at 11.00 am departure to Essaouira. Fish lunch at a local restaurant. Visit of this idyllic fishermen town known as the former Mogador and Portuguese stronghold and famous for its woodcarving handicraft. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 10: MONDAY – ESSAOUIRA/SAFI/EL JADIDA/CASABLANCA (270 km) - Departure to Safi, also a former Portuguese fortress and famous for its pottery. Sightseeing of the town. Continuation To Oualidia via the picturesque coastal road, lunch at a local restaurant in Oualidia with view on its superb bay. Continuation to El Jadida, sight seeing of this town including the famous citadel, a reminder of the Portuguese occupation of the 16th century. Continuation to Casablanca. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel

DAY 11: TUESDAY – CASABLANCA - Departure. Transfer to the airport of Casablanca, assistance from our staff with check in and departure formalities.


NOTES:

If you are arriving on Sunday, the following arrangements are made:
For arrivals at airport till 12:00: direct transfer to the restaurant in Casablanca to join the group.
For arrivals after 12:00: direct transfer to the hotel in Rabat. In this case sight seeing of Rabat takes place early the next day before leaving to Fez.
Price per pax for special transfer to Rabat is 360 DH, minimum 4 persons.

The sightseeing of Casablanca will take place upon return on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon is at leisure, HB at the hotel. Sunday: transfer to the airport.
