Day 1 - Arrive New York City
Welcome to New York City – the Big Apple! A complimentary transfer is provided to your hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to greet you and answer questions. Join us at 6:00pm for a Welcome Reception at the hotel.

Day 2 - New York – Washington DC (2 nights)
We start the day with an orientation tour of New York City, viewing Battery Park, Times Square, the mighty Empire State Building and beautiful Central Park. Leaving the city, we travel south to Washington DC, the nation’s capital. This evening we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 3 - Washington DC sightseeing & at leisure
We are joined by a local guide who takes us on a sightseeing tour, viewing the Capitol, the White House and many of the capital’s landmark monuments and memorials. Stops are made at the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials and the WWII and Vietnam Veterans Memorials. We then cross the Potomac to Arlington National Cemetery, the final resting place of more than 300,000 people and site of the Tomb of the Unknowns and the Eternal Flame of the Kennedy grave. Here, we learn about the history and traditions of Arlington on board the narrated Tourmobile. The afternoon is at leisure; perhaps visit one of the museums of the Smithsonian Institution or take a leisurely stroll and view the monuments up close. (Full Breakfast)

Day 4 - Washington DC – Philadelphia
We journey on to Baltimore, Maryland, and visit the bustling Inner Harbor. Next we arrive at the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. At Independence National Historical Park, we visit the award-winning National Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell Center, home to the Liberty Bell, and we view Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776. Tonight, why not follow us back to the 18th century with our optional dinner at the historic City Tavern, followed by a stroll through Old Town? (Full Breakfast)

Day 5 - Philadelphia – Lancaster County/Amish Country
We head to the lands of the Amish and Mennonites and explore parts of Lancaster County where handmade crafts testify to their old-fashioned values. We pass some of the most productive farms in America, growing crops the same way they did two hundred years ago. We visit an Amish farm for a glimpse into a different way of life. Tonight, we dine on local specialties at an Amish family restaurant. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 6 - Lancaster County – Niagara Falls
Today we're off to Niagara Falls to experience this natural wonder. These famous waterfalls thunder and roar, forming one of the most photographed natural wonders of the world. We stop to view the falls from high above before checking in at our hotel overlooking both the Canadian and US falls. (Full Breakfast)

Day 7 - Niagara Falls – Toronto (2 nights)
Our highlight today is a cruise aboard the Maid of the Mist, which takes us through the churning waters past the American and Bridal Veil Falls and into the dense mist of spray inside the curve of the Horseshoe Falls. Later we travel across the Niagara Peninsula and stop at picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake before continuing on to Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario, one of the five great lakes. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 8 - Toronto sightseeing & at leisure
Our sightseeing tour of Toronto includes Queens Park, the Harbourfront, views of Casa Loma and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. The afternoon is at leisure to explore this lively city. Tonight is free to discover Toronto's restaurants. Perhaps join a panoramic dinner cruise on the lake with magnificent views of Toronto’s skyline. (Full Breakfast)

Day 9 - Toronto – Ottawa – Montreal
We travel to Ottawa, Canada's capital. Here our orientation tour introduces us to sights of this charming city, including the Parliament Buildings, residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General, galleries and museums. We then make our way to Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 10 - Montreal – Quebec City (2 nights)
We are taken on a sightseeing tour of Montreal with a local guide and discover the Old Port, Place Jacques Cartier, the University of Montreal, Mount Royal and Notre Dame Cathedral. Later, we journey along the beautiful St. Lawrence River to Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and enjoy a two-night stay just outside the walled city. (Full Breakfast)

Day 11 - Quebec City sightseeing
We join a local guide and start exploring the city. Highlights include the Latin Quarter, "Vieux-Quebec," the Place d'Armes, Dufferin Terrace, Plains of Abraham, Chateau Frontenac and the Citadel. The afternoon and evening are yours to do as you please. Explore further and stroll along the narrow streets, take a romantic caleche ride through the old city, or relax in one of Quebec's sidewalk cafés. (Full Breakfast)

Day 12 - Quebec City – Franconia Notch – Boston (2 nights)
We travel south and cross into the USA and the New England states. We stop in the beautiful White Mountains at New Hampshire's Franconia Notch. As we make our way to Boston, take in the beautiful countryside scenery. (Full Breakfast)

Day 13 - Boston sightseeing & at leisure
This morning's sightseeing tour highlights the city’s landmarks and the famous Freedom Trail, where we hear about the struggle of the American Colonists and their courageous actions. The afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps take a walk through Boston Common, visit the Bull and Finch Pub of the TV series Cheers fame, or join our optional excursion to the delightful coastal community of Salem, site of the Salem witchcraft trials. This evening join us at a local restaurant for our farewell dinner. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 14 - Boston – Depart New York City
We depart Boston this morning and stop at the historic colonial city of Newport, Rhode Island. Our orientation tour includes the restored streets of this 18th century seaport and the stunning Ocean Drive, lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America’s wealthiest families. There is time to explore this fascinating town before returning to New York. A complimentary transfer is provided to JFK International Airport and the hotel in New York for passengers extending their stay. (Full Breakfast)

Located in the heart of Old Montreal, Restaurant du Vieux Port welcomes you in a historic building dating back to 1880. All the charm of the old stone walls has been preserved in the magnificent dining rooms, creating a simply breathtaking atmosphere. Enjoy a three-course dinner featuring the finest local ingredients of the region. Later take a brief guided stroll through the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal. Please note that accessing the dining room reserved for our group requires walking up a flight of 8 stairs.

BOS-1 - Boston's Panorama with Lobster Dinner at Union Oyster House
This is the best way to see the beautiful city of Boston by night! From the Prudential Centre Skywalk Observatory, one of the tallest buildings in New England, enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views which include Fenway Park, Boston’s Back Bay area, Charles River State House, Boston’s Public Gardens, and the famous Hatch Shell - home to the Boston Pops Orchestra. Drive through the glittering city back to the Freedom Trail, and enjoy a three-course dinner (lobster available at no supplement) at the Union Oyster House, America’s oldest restaurant and a designated National Historic Landmark. Defining the Toronto skyline, the CN Tower is Canada’s most recognizable and celebrated icon. At the height of 553.33m (1,815 feet, 5 inches), it is the World’s Tallest Building. WAS-5 - Historic Georgetown Walking Tour and Dinner at Nick's Riverside Grill
A list of Georgetown residents, past and present, is a pantheon of American History. Senators, ambassadors and statesmen have called Georgetown home. Stroll with us through the elegant cobblestone streets and through the charming nineteenth-century brick townhouses, art galleries, boutiques and night clubs. The walk should help work up an appetite, so we’ll finish our evening with dinner and great views of the waterfront while dining in historic Georgetown.

PHL-2 - Lights of Liberty Show & Walking Tour
The “Lights of Liberty” is the first high-tech sound and light show of its kind in the world. Experience American history as it happened, where it happened and journey through five dramatic acts featuring Franklin Court, Carpenter’s Hall, the Second Bank of the United States and Independence Hall. The buildings of Independence National Historical Park come to life with projections of beautiful hand-painted images synchronized with a stirring soundtrack heard through digital surround-sound headsets. Note: On some departures, the Lights of Liberty Show is not available and passengers will be offered the live historical theatre show indoors, “Founding Fathers.”

NIA-3U - Niagara Falls Helicopter Flightseeing
Enjoy an exhilarating and scenic helicopter flight and experience the views of the awe-inspiring Niagara Region as you gently lift off over the Whirlpool Rapids and Rainbow Bridge. See the green grass and floral beauty of Queen Victoria Park stretch below you as the helicopter passes by the American Falls and Skylon Tower. Follow the curve of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and see rainbows appear and disappear all over. This is a ride you do not want to miss! Duration: 12 minutes.

NIA-4 - Oh Canada, Eh?!
The show is a 2-hour musical celebration of Canada. The performers are also the servers of the meal and sing a collection of songs that were either written or made famous by Canadians. They serve you a delicious five course family style dinner during the show. The meal starts with a French Canadian split pea soup, fresh homemade bread, garden salad, Alberta grade "EH" roast beef, fresh Atlantic haddock, roasted chicken, roasted potatoes & maple chocolate cake. The meal is served family style on platters, so you take what you'd like and have seconds of your favorites. Hot tea & coffee are complimentary.
