Day 1 - Arrive Montreal
Welcome to Montreal! There is so much to see in this radiant city, especially downtown Montreal, with beautiful churches, buildings, museums and an underground city. You could take a stroll through the Latin Quarter to see the trendy bohemian side of the city.

Day 2 - Montreal at Leisure
Your city sightseeing tour is a great way to get an overview of this lovely city. You don't want to miss Old Montreal along the shores of the St. Lawrence River where Montreal was founded. It leads into the Old Port, which is one of the largest redeveloped old ports in the world. Here you'll find the Notre-Dame Basilica, constructed in 1824. It is a masterpiece of neo-Gothic architecture. Visit Bonsecours Market and City Hall in this area.

Day 3 - Montreal to Quebec City
Your travel time aboard VIA Rail from Montreal to Quebec City is 3 hours. Your departure from Montreal takes you along the St. Lawrence region to Quebec City, the cultural and spiritual heart of "La Belle Province." Quebec City sits high above the St. Lawrence River and is the only walled city north of Mexico. Quebec City is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities in North America. Upon arrival into Quebec City, you will need to take a taxi from the rail station to your hotel. The famous Fairmont Chateau Frontenac is situated in the heart of the city, overlooking the St. Lawrence River, close to boutique shopping and quaint restaurants. From the moment you arrive you will see that life around the Frontenac is a cornucopia of this vibrant city.

Day 4 - Quebec City sightseeing
A Full day of sightseeing has been scheduled for today. This morning you will discover Quebec City's historic past with a sightseeing tour. Your afternoon tour takes you out of the city with stops at the famous basilica in Sainte Anne de Beaupre, Montmorency Falls and the Island of Orleans.

Day 5 - Quebec City/Charlevoix
This new and exciting train route will travel along the St. Lawrence to take you from Quebec City to Charlevoix. Breakfast is included. Here you will find the beautiful Fairmont Manoir Richelieu. Here you can golf, hike, swim and go whale watching or try your luck at the casino.

Day 6 - Charlevoix/Whale watching tour
This region is noted for whales migrating. Today a whale watching cruise has been schedule for you.

Day 7 - Charlevoix to Quebec City
You have most of the day to relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Manoir Richelieu and the scenic views of the St. Lawrence River. A gourmet dinner is provided during your return train ride to Quebec City this evening.

Day 8 - Quebec City/Home
