Enjoy
a morning
orientation of Athens before boarding your cruise ship to set sail in
the beautiful Aegean Sea. Although there are plenty of activities on
board to keep you entertained on your cruise, you’ll also enjoy stops
on the windmill-dotted island of Mykonos; the Turkish port of Kusadasi;
the islands of Patmos and Rhodes; Heraklion on the island of Crete; and
Santorini (weather permitting), before returning to Athens. Optional
excursions are available to Ephesus, Lindos, and Knossos.Board your overnight transatlantic flight.
Day 2 Arrive in Athens, Greece (Sun.)
Time to rest or to start exploring the Hellenic capital. At 6 pm, meet your Athens Host and traveling companions for a welcome drink.
Day 3 Athens–Piraeus (Embarkation)–Mykonos (Mon.)
Morning orientation drive in Athens before heading for Pireaus. Around 11 am, sail into the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea, easily settling into the cruising routine of sunbathing, sipping cool drinks, splashing in the pool, and reveling in the delights prepared by the ship’s expert chefs. Later, dock at the mountainous island of Mykonos with its characteristic windmills and dazzling white houses. Time to wander at whim through narrow paved streets lined with trendy boutiques and shady tavernas before returning on board. (B,L,D)
Days 4-6 Cruising (Tue. to Thu.)
Enjoy your cruise to Mykonos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Patmos, Rhodes, Heraklion and Santorini (weather permitting). Optional excursions are available to Ephesus, Lindos, and Knossos. (B,L,D)
Day 7 Piraeus (Disembarkation)–Athens (Fri.)
After breakfast on board, disembark at Piraeus and return to Athens. The remainder of the day is free to catch up on last-minute shopping. (B)
