3 day tour starts in Amman and ends in Israel. See the
Highlights of Jordan, and of course the Red Rose City of Petra
accessible only by the 2km Souk. Day 1: Amman
Morning transfer from Jerusalem to the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge; enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Drive to Ajloun to see Saladin’s magnificent mountaintop castle. Continue to Jerash, known as the “Pompeii of the East,” one of the world’s best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. Your local guide will escort you on a private tour of the Temples of Artemis and Zeus, the Roman Forum, Hadrian’s Arch, the massive Theatre and the mile-long Street of Columns. After lunch, continue to Amman, the modern and ancient capital of Jordan; enjoy a panoramic city tour before checking into your hotel. Tonight, dinner “Middle-Eastern style” at a Folkloric Village. Overnight in Amman.
Day 2: Petra
After breakfast, depart Amman and drive south along the Desert Road to Petra, built by the Nabateans 2,000 years ago. Your local guide will take you on a private tour into the “rose-red” city (by horseback and foot), which begins at the “Siq,” a winding canyon road. At the end of the passage you’ll see Petra’s most beautiful monument — the Treasury — carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain. Beyond the Treasury, you’ll discover soaring temples; elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers and water channels. Lunch is included in Petra. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
Day 3: Israel
After breakfast transfer from your hotel in Petra to the Allenby-King Hussein Bridge or to the Arava Crossing (Eilat)* for re-entry to Israel.
* Passengers exiting Jordan at the Arava Crossing (Eilat): Additional charge of $110 per car (1-4 people) applies and includes transfer to hotels in Eilat or to the Eilat Airport.
An optional Jeep Tour to Wadi Rum may be arranged on Day 3 before return to Eilat.

Our representative will meet you at the Allenby BridgeTerminal. Relax in the VIP lounge while we attend to the passport and crossing formalities. You will then be transferred in a private vehicle across the bridge to Jordan. No waiting for Shuttle buses! On the Jordanian side, VIP services include all assistance and processing of arrival documents.
