Explore the highlights of Jordan and Syria with us on this 12 day tour.

DAY 01 - Arrival to Amman (Jordan)
Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet and assist you through immigration procedures. Drive to the hotel in Amman for check-in and overnight stay.


DAY 02 - Mount Nebo / Madaba / King's Way / Kerak
First stop today is Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land before he died. Visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and maybe Jerusalem. Then head to Madaba, famous for the mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's Church. Afterwards drive to Kerak along the ancient biblical caravan route known as the King's Way. Make a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Kerak is well known for the famous crusader castle that was built in 1132/34 by King Baldwin the First of Jerusalem. Then head to Petra for check-in and overnight stay.


DAY 03 - Petra
Morning start a full day tour to the red rose rock city of Petra, the most famous attraction of Jordan and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World! Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. On horse back ride to the narrow canyon, the so-called Siq, then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Further walk along the Street of Facades, see the Royal Tombs, Pharaoh's Castle and after a break the impressing Monastery "El Deir“. Overnight in Petra.


DAY 04 - Dead Sea and Amman City Tour
Leave Petra for the Dead Sea. The lowest point on earth (417m below sea level) and the largest "Natural Spa" in the world. Here you have an opportunity to float on the salty lake and experience the feeling of not sinking in the water or try the beauty benefits of the dark mud on its shores. Then drive back to Amman to enjoy a city tour of Jordan's capital. Visit the Citadel with its Byzantine and Islamic remains, the Amphitheater, the downtown area and stroll in the Souq. Overnight in Amman.


DAY 05 - Jerash / Syrian Border / Bosra
Drive north to visit Jerash, the best preserved Roman provincial city in the Middle East. Then, further north, cross the border to Syria where you will be met and transferred to Bosra. This city was the Roman capital for the Arabic region. Here see the remains of temples, palaces, high columns and mosques made of dark basaltic stones. The highlight in Bosra is the magnificent amphitheater dating back to the 2nd century. Overnight in Bosra.


DAY 06 - Bosra / Maaloula / Apamea / Aleppo
Maaloula is a rocky village located in the Al Qalamoon Mountains with houses that cling on hills of limestone. The old Aramaic language is still used here and visit the famous monasteries St. Sergius and St. Tekla. Next stop is Apamea with its charming ruins, old houses and large churches dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries. Overnight in Aleppo.


DAY 07 - St Simeon Church and Aleppo City Tour
Today visit St. Simeon Church honoring the Christian Saint Simeon who lived for over 30 years on a pillar. Back in Aleppo view the Citadel, the largest, oldest and most impressive monument in Aleppo. The Citadel is situated at the center of the city on a hill about 40 meter high. Also visit the Great Mosque, the Aleppo Museum, Souqs and Khans. Overnight in Aleppo.


DAY 08 - Aleppo / Hama / Crac des Chevaliers / Palmyra
Move to Hama to see the popular waterwheels and then further on to Crac des Chevaliers. This is the most famous Crusader castle. It stands proudly on a volcanic crater and overlooks the Bekaa plain, Homs and Lattakia. Drive on to Palmyra for overnight stay.


DAY 09 - Palmyra:
Start your visit of ancient Palmyra, located in an oasis, and one of Syria's most famous tourist attractions. Amongst other monuments view the castle, theater, the Nabu Temple, the Temple of Bel, the supreme Palmyrene god, and tombs. Overnight in Palmyra.


DAY 10 - Palmyra to Damascus
Arrive in Damascus and visit the National Museum of Syria, housing an incredibly rich collection of antiquities from every era. Later, on the Kassioun Mountain, the house mountain of the capital, watch the sunset. Overnight in Damascus.


DAY 11 - Damascus
Today's program covers the Azem Palace, a jewel of 18th century Damascus architecture, the Umayyad Mosque and Salah al-Dins Mausoleum. Also visit the ancient Hananya Church and St. Paul's Church, which marks the site where St. Paul escaped from the city avoiding persecution. Overnight in Damascus


DAY 12 - Departure from Damascus (Syria):
Breakfast, check out and meet in the hotel lobby for transfer to Damascus Airport.
