The Medical Team:
KPJ’s medical services are provided by a highly professional, well trained team of 439 Medical Consultants, comprising 317 residents and 122 visiting medical consultants. The groups staff strength averages around 4,500 total.

•    All KPJ Hospitals are well-designed and set amidst a pleasant environment to cater for maximum patient comfort and to assist with patient recovery.
•    Ampang Puteri is the flagship hospital of the group a purpose built Tertiary Care facility with 44 resident consultants.

Additional Services:
•    KPJ provides community outreach programs, community awareness and health awareness programs in the communities around all of its hospitals. They sponsor a weekly health care program on a private TV station and provide funds to sponsor needy patients, charity clinics through JCorp and rendered aid to Tsunami victims.

The one thing we all noted was that upon entering these hospitals you felt you were entering a Hotel lobby as they had a reception and concierge and variety of shops and bakeries. After visiting just these first two facilities I would have no hesitation in having medical treatments there.

We learned the major advantages of choosing Malaysia as the prime destination for private health care are state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified medical specialists, comfortable accommodations, easy accessibility, and safety and security. Fast tracking with immigration for medical patients. Hassle free admissions and airport transfers, prompt attention and tourism for the recuperative period. Some insurance companies who will use Malaysian medical facilities.

After visiting these two hospitals it was time for some sightseeing. We visited the world famous Petronas Towers, with a little time for shopping in the shopping mall before riding the high speed elevator to the bridge for a view of the city and some photo ops. Then it was on to the Kuala Lumpur Tower, with some breathtaking views of the city. Time for shopping at the central market and Chinatown before heading back to the Hotel.

Day 3:
After breakfast we checked out of the Traders and headed to Subang Jaya Medical Center.
