Discover the heart of the Italian lakes on this magnificent getaway. Your vacation begins with two nights at picturesque Lake Como. Enjoy free time to relax and an included boat trip to picture-perfect Bellagio. Heading east, cross through the Franciacorta wine-growing area and pause at Lake Iseo and the spa town of Sirmione on your way to lovely Lake Garda at the foot of the Alps. Relax at one of the lakeside cafés and try the fabulous ice cream. After two overnights, travel south to Romeo and Juliet’s Verona and on to enchanting Lake Maggiore, where you may choose to join a boat trip to its islands filled with quaint fishing villages and aristocratic villas. Cross the border into Switzerland for free time in beautiful Lake Lugano. Stroll along the lakeside promenade, shop on Via Nassa, or explore the Piazza Riforma. Return to Lake Como for three overnights and the conclusion of your glorious vacation.

Day 1 ARRIVE IN MILAN, ITALY–LAKE COMO

Day 2 LAKE COMO. EXCURSION TO BELLAGIO
Inspiring everyone from Roman senators and great composers to Hollywood actors, Como is the romantic image of the lakes, its cobalt-blue waters lined with magnificent mountains, lush gardens, and grand villas. Today, relax and get to know the area or join the included boat trip to Bellagio, which occupies one of the most scenic positions in all of Italy. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3 LAKE COMO–SIRMIONE–LAKE GARDA AREA
Catch the first glimpses of Lake Garda as you stop in Sirmione, the picturesque spa town on the south shore of Lake Garda. Stroll among the many shops and ice cream parlors that line the narrow cobblestone streets. Continue to the northern shore of Lake Garda for an overnight. (Breakfast)

Day 4 LAKE GARDA AREA
A whole day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful area, situated at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by mountains to the north and the gentle slopes of moraine hills to the south. Discover more on an optional day excursion. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 LAKE GARDA–VERONA–LAKE ISEO–LAKE MAGGIORE
This morning, visit the romantic medieval city of Verona. See Juliet’s Balcony and enjoy some time at leisure. On the way to Lake Iseo, renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, enjoy vistas of the scenic Franciacorta wine-growing area before heading back to Lake Maggiore. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 LAKE MAGGIORE
Set between Piedmonte, Lombardy, and Switzerland, Lake Maggiore is a paradise of crystal waters, backed by towering mountains and surrounded by lush countryside. The day is yours to relax or to enjoy some of the many activities available around Lake Maggiore. Maybe join an optional boat trip to the Borromean Islands of Pescatori and Isola Bella, with time to visit the extravagant Borromeo Palace, built like a ship anchored just off the shoreline. Day 7 LAKE MAGGIORE–LUGANO, SWITZERLAND–LAKE COMO, ITALY
Three picturesque lakes are on the agenda today as we leave the southern part of Lake Maggiore, cross the border into Switzerland, and head towards beautiful Lake Lugano and the stylish city that bears its name. Time to stroll along the lakeside promenade, window shop on refined Via Nassa, or sip an espresso on the Piazza Riforma. An optional excursion to Mount Tamaro is also available. Leave Switzerland and cross back into Italy, driving along the shores of Lake Como to reach your accommodation in the late afternoon. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Days 8-10 LAKE COMO
Relax on the shores of Lake Como, situated beneath Alpine Switzerland. In fact, on clear days you can see the peaks of the Swiss Alps. Take advantage of the many facilities offered. Ask your Local Host for more information. (Breakfast, Dinner)
