This truly varied and exciting self drive tour of the north & east parts of South Africa is not to be missed. This company was started in 1986 by PJ and Barney Bestelink. They operate in the Okavango Delta which promises some of the best wilderness areas that Southern Africa has to offer.
Philip and Gerti Kusseler started their horseback safaris in 1999. It operates in the Karongwe - Makalali Game Reserves and traverses a vast area of 25000 hectares. The area is Lowveld Bushveld with beautiful green drainage lines that thread through the area, with the spectacular backdrop is the Klein Drakensberg Mountains. The reserve supports a host of wildlife, including the big 5 as well as wild dog and hippo.
