Observe the gradual rise or fall of the Bay of Fundy tides, an average change of 6 to 8 feet per hour. The Fundy Tides rise and fall up to 50 feet and are the highest on earth. Twice each day one-hundred-billion tons of water flow into the Bay of Fundy. This creates the phenomenal Fundy Tides, which overpower the rivers flowing into the Bay of Fundy and reverse their direction two times a day. This daily rise and fall of the tides equals the 24-hour flow of all of the rivers in the world. Then, continue over the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island, Canada’s smallest province. Arrive at your country inn for a relaxing two night stay. B Day 4 – Prince Edward Island This morning, drive along the seashore of Prince Edward Island Park. Watch for red fox and great blue heron.
