Journey through historic Route 66, enjoying an orientation of Chicago, seeing the adobe houses of New Mexico, and relishing in the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas and Hollywood. Marvel at the awe-inspiring landscapes of Grand Canyon National Park and explore some of the largest cave formations at the Meramec Caverns.
Day 1 - ARRIVE CHICAGO Welcome to Chicago, the Windy City! A complimentary transfer is provided to the tour hotel. Your Tour Director is at the hotel this afternoon to greet you and answer your questions. Join us at 6 p.m. for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Day 2 - CHICAGO – SPRINGFIELD – ST. LOUIS Learn about Chicago on an orientation tour viewing the famous Lakeshore Drive, the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. Travel to Springfield, the capital of Illinois and final resting place of Abraham Lincoln. Stop and pay your respects at Lincoln's Tomb. Later, arrive in St. Louis for an orientation tour of the city including views of the famous Gateway Arch. Tonight, join an award-winning barbecue team as they reveal the secrets to a perfect barbecue meal. Learn about various southern barbecue techniques and participate in a sauce making contest. Then experience this favourite American pastime firsthand as your hosts serve your 'Be My Guest' Barbecue Dinner hot off the grill. (Full Breakfast / Be My Guest dinner)

Day 3 - ST. LOUIS – MERAMEC CAVERNS – BRANSON (2 nights)
Start the day with a tour of the historic Anheuser Busch Brewery. We follow the journey of how beer is produced, visit the famous Budweiser Clydesdales paddock and stables, the beechwood aging cellars, historic brewhouse and packaging plant. Taste the fine beer and malt beverage products. Later explore some of the rarest and largest cave formations at the Meramec Caverns and then travel into the heart of the Ozark Mountains to Branson, the all-American musical extravaganza and entertainment mecca of the Midwest. The evening is at leisure to pursue your own interests - there is something for everyone in Branson! (Full Breakfast)

Day 4 - BRANSON AT LEISURE
Take the full day at leisure to experience one of America's most popular entertainment destinations. See fabulous shows, enjoy fiddling, comedy, banjo picking, big band, country, pop and more - all performed by legendary entertainers such as Andy Williams, Petula Clark, Yakov Smirnoff and Shoji Tabuchi. Your Tour Director will assist you with planning your day. (Full Breakfast)
Day 5 - BRANSON – WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL – OKLAHOMA CITY
Today travel along some of the best-preserved sections of Route 66 passing through Eastern Oklahoma. Outside of Tulsa visit the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, dedicated to one of America's most beloved celebrities. Then arrive in Oklahoma City and stop at the Oklahoma City National Memorial, commemorating the 1995 bombing of the Federal Building. This evening visit the restored Bricktown district for a Highlight Dinner. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 6 - OKLAHOMA CITY – ROUTE 66 MUSEUM – AMARILLO
This morning, visit the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum whose mission is "To preserve and interpret the heritage of the American West for the enrichment of the public." Then continue to Clinton and visit the Oklahoma Route 66 Museum to experience the history and culture of each decade of the great Route 66. Entering Texas, return to Route 66 for some famous picture stops along the “Mother Road” and arrive in the city of Amarillo. (Full Breakfast)

Day 7 - AMARILLO – ALBUQUERQUE (2 nights)
After making a short photo stop at the "pop art" sculpture known as Cadillac Ranch, leave Texas and enter New Mexico. Arrive in Albuquerque for a two-night stay. Albuquerque is the largest city in New Mexico and owes its explosive growth to the economic boom that Route 66 brought to the city during the golden age of the “Mother Road.” Cruise along Albuquerque's Route 66, now Central Avenue, with its architecture typical of the Route 66 era and stop at the famous 66 Diner, where we step back in time and may be tempted by the delicious shakes and pies. This evening, enjoy a Highlight Dinner featuring Southwestern flavours at a local restaurant. (Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 8 - ALBUQUERQUE SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
This morning, wander through historic Old Town Albuquerque. Learn about the city's history, discover interesting original adobe buildings including many listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and browse the shops for Southwestern artifacts and souvenirs. This afternoon is at leisure; perhaps join an optional excursion to Santa Fe, complete with a guided open-air trolley tour. (Full Breakfast)
Day 9 - ALBUQUERQUE – SKY CITY ACOMA PUEBLO – FLAGSTAFF
Your first stop this morning is at Sky City Acoma Pueblo for a guided tour with a Native American resident. The oldest continuously inhabited community in North America, this mesa-top village is known worldwide for its unique art and profoundly rich culture. Arriving in Arizona, travel through the amazing landscapes of the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park. Passing through Winslow, Arizona, head into the cool pine-covered elevations of the Colorado Plateau. Overnight in Flagstaff where old cafes, motor courts and the colourful downtown district all show evidence of the impact Route 66 had on this town. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 10 - FLAGSTAFF – NAVAJO RESERVATION – GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK
This morning travel north into the Navajo Indian Reservation. After a stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post, travel along the Grand Canyon’s scenic Desert View Drive taking in the ever-changing vistas. Overnight inside the national park, allowing plenty of time to explore this natural wonder. For the best views of the Grand Canyon, why not take an optional flightseeing by plane or helicopter? Day 11 - GRAND CANYON – SELIGMAN – KINGMAN – LAS VEGAS
This morning, enjoy some of the original parts of Route 66 with stops at the historic towns of Seligman and Kingman, before crossing the Colorado River into Nevada. Today's journey ends with an afternoon arrival in Las Vegas where there's time to enjoy the casinos, shows and all-night entertainment. (Full Breakfast)

Day 12 - LAS VEGAS – HOLLYWOOD – LOS ANGELES
Today it's back on a portion of Route 66 at Barstow and then on to Los Angeles. Along the way enjoy some of the sights of Los Angeles, including a stop in Hollywood to view the famous Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman's Chinese Theater. Then tour along Sunset Boulevard through Beverly Hills and all the way to the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica, where there is time to wander around. Now that you have had your "Kicks on Route 66," enjoy the final evening of our tour with a Farewell Dinner. (Full Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
