Day 1- Depart USA
Overnight flight to Madrid.

Day 2 - Arrive Madrid (2 nights)
You are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Later, meet your Tour Director for a Welcome Drink and tour briefing with your fellow travellers.

Day 3 - Toledo excursion and Madrid sightseeing
First we drive to Toledo where our tour on foot, using our audio system, includes a visit to the Synagogue, the Church of Santo Tome and a local steel workshop. Then we return to Madrid where our sightseeing tour along the wide tree-lined avenues shows us the Cervantes Memorial in the Plaza de Espana, the Puerta del Sol and we walk to see the magnificent Plaza Mayor. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - Madrid – Cordoba – Seville (2 nights)
Our Tour Director will show us a Hidden Treasure during our travels today. But first to Puerto Lapice of legendary Don Quixote fame, then to Cordoba where we visit the Mosque of the Caliphs and learn of the Moorish history of the region. Then we continue to our hotel in Seville. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 5 - Seville sightseeing & at leisure
Our sightseeing tour takes us through the tree-lined streets of Seville to see the Bell Tower and weather vane of the Giralda. We will also see the pools and fountains of the Maria Luisa Park and Christopher Columbusí tomb and continue with a walk through the Jewish quarter. Tonight, why not experience a little Spanish passion at a fiery Flamenco show? (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 6 - Seville – Granada
A scenic drive takes us to Granada to enjoy a guided sightseeing tour with our audio system including one of the most important sights in Spain, the Moorish Alhambra Palace. Our guided tour of this magnificent example of Moorish architecture shows us the exotic water gardens of the Generalife, the royal summer residence, where we have fine views over the town and the surrounding hills. Tonight, a dinner of local specialities in a typical restaurant of this hilltop town. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 7 - Granada – Valencia
Via the Mora Pass, we soon arrive at the Troglodyte dwellings of Guadix. Time to take pictures before continuing to Valencia, renowned for its orange groves, where orientation shows us the Bull Ring, the great Cathedral and the Towers of Serrano and Cuarte. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Hotel: Abba Acteon Plaza

Day 8 - Valencia – Barcelona (2 nights)
First through the Levant region to PeÒiscola for our first stop. Then on to Barcelona where on arrival we will enjoy a sightseeing tour using our audio system and highlighting the fantasies of Gaudi, the Ramblas, the Plaza Catalunya and a walk through the Gothic quarter with its magnificent Cathedral. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 9 - Barcelona at leisure
Today is at leisure to explore this fascinating city. Maybe shop in the chic boutiques along Diagonal or take an excursion to Montserrat. This evening we enjoy a special Farewell Dinner with wine together with our Tour Director and new found friends. (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Day 10 - Barcelona - USA
Time for final goodbyes to Spain and your fellow travellers as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight. (Buffet Breakfast)

    * Madrid: Sightseeing includes Puerta del Sol, Cervantes Memorial and Plaza Mayor.
    * Toledo: Sightseeing includes visits to the Synagogue, Church of Santo Tome and a Toledo steel workshop.

    * Barcelona: Sightseeing includes the Gothic Quarter, Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia' and the Ramblas.

Airport Transfers
Airport Transfers will be provided on Day 2 and Barcelona Airport Transfers on Day 10. Group transfers on arrival at Madrid Airport will operate at 09.30, 12.30 and 15.00. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Barcelona Airport at 9.00. For passengers who wish to be transferred to Madrid, we will transfer you to the extra night hotel in Madrid with arrival around 6pm.

    * London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Tour Operator your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. The Tour Operator has included a free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
    * Important – Please Note Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
    * You are staying at a London hotel, booked by the Tour Operator, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
    * Flights are either booked by Tour Operator or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
    * Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Tour Operator. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
    * Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
    * In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Tour Operator will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
    * No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.
    * Why not upgrade to a Hotelink transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Tour Operator London hotel? (please ask Tour Operator or your travel agent of the additional upgrade price per person when booking)
    * European Gateways: With Tour Operator all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
    * Tour Operator Bonus - Passengers who book Tour Operators Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
    * Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Tour Operator providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Tour Operator. Please ask for prices of transfers at the time of booking your extra night accommodation.
