Day 1 - Arrive in Copenhagen
Tour begins at 6:00 PM at Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.  Welcome to Denmark! A transfer is included from Copenhagen Airport to Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen in the heart of the Danish capital. Meet your fellow travel companions at tonight's welcome cocktail reception and dinner in your center-city hotel.

Day 2 - Copenhagen's Rosenborg Palace, Nyhavn & more
On a Copenhagen sightseeing tour, see the Danish crown jewels and other treasures at Rosenborg Palace, built in Dutch Renaissance style, and visit the colorful district of Nyhavn. The afternoon and evening are free to explore the city as you please; wonderful Tivoli Gardens and the fashionable pedestrian area of Stroget are a short walk from your landmark hotel.

• Day 3 - From Viking ships in Roskilde to your cruise ship
Travel to Roskilde - Denmark's religious, cultural, and political center from the Viking times through the Middle Ages - and visit the Viking Ship Museum, featuring five ships from the 11th century that were discovered in the 1960s. Returning to Copenhagen, board Le Boreal and set off to cruise Russia by way of the Baltic Sea.

• Day 4 - A day at sea aboard the new Le Boreal

• Day 5 - Exploring ancient Tallinn, Estonia
Dock in the walled city of Tallinn for a day of discovery in the age-old capital of Estonia, one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities. Accompanied by your local guide, stroll through narrow cobblestone streets and the main Market Square of Old Town; admire the 13th-century Toompea Castle, Estonia's traditional seat of power. Enjoy lunch with time to wander afterwards.

• Day 6 - Russia's cultural capital, St. Petersburg
Cruise Russia and arrive in the glorious imperial city of St. Petersburg. A guided tour of city sights includes the imposing Peter and Paul Fortress, built in the 18th century as the core of Peter the Great's new capital, what the czar called his "window on the west"; inside the fortress, Peter and Paul Cathedral - with its tall golden spire - contains the tombs of all the Russian czars. Explore more of St. Petersburg on your own this afternoon.

• Day 7 - Catherine Palace & an evening of Russian culture
In St. Petersburg, take advantage of early visits to the city's most revered sights to avoid crowds. Tour Catherine Palace in Pushkin, the Rococo summer residence of the Romanovs - you'll immediately notice the ornate blue-and-white ornamental façade; lavish interiors feature gilded wall carvings and intricate ceiling murals, and opulent touches including silk wallpaper, crystal chandeliers and marble chimneys. This evening, attend a Russian cultural event.

• Day 8 - The State Hermitage Museum
Take a privately guided tour of The State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg today, housing one of the largest collections of art and artifacts in the world. Displays include prehistoric cultures, classical antiquities, Western European art, and golden treasures. Pursue your own interests in the afternoon, and then set sail once again, as Le Boreal continues to cruise Russia and the Baltic Sea.

• Day 9 - Helsinki, "City by the Sea"
Helsinki - Finland's capital and "city by the sea," surrounded on three sides by water - welcomes you for a day of exploration that's sure to be among the highlights of your cruise. See historic Neoclassical Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, the Sibelius Monument, Market Square and the extraordinary Temppeliaukio (Rock) Church on a guided sightseeing tour.

Day 10 - Disembark in Stockholm, Sweden's island city
Bid the crew of Le Boreal adieu as you disembark the yacht in Stockholm, which is strategically positioned on 14 islands. Sightseeing includes City Hall, where Nobel Prize festivities take place, and a walking tour along the cobbled streets of medieval Gamla Stan, or Old Town. Spend the remainder of the day as you please.

Day 11 - Stockholm's canals and the Vasa Museum
A cruise through Stockholm's canals reveals the city's remarkable islands, as well as its seafaring past. This great maritime heritage is also brought to life during your visit to the fascinating Vasa Museum - featuring the impressive Vasa, an ornate royal warship that sank in the harbor following its launch in 1628 and was raised in 1961. Enjoy a free afternoon, then share impressions of your memorable cruise at this evening's farewell dinner.

Day 12 - Homeward bound from Stockholm
Tour ends: Stockholm. A transfer from the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel to Arlanda Airport for your flight is included. You should allow a minimum of 2 1/2 hours for flight check-in at the airport.

Night 1 & 2: Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen

The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, situated in the heart of the city next to Tivoli Gardens, was Copenhagen’s first major skyscraper and is considered by many to be the masterpiece of noted Danish architect, Arne Jacobson. The comfortable guest rooms showcase innovative Danish design and offer high-quality amenities. The large, state-of-the-art fitness center provides a wide array of exercise equipment, a solarium, dry / steam saunas as well as massage and wellness treatments. The Alberto K at the Royal restaurant, located on the 20th floor, offers breathtaking views of the city and a fine menu featuring Mediterranean-influenced cuisine.  
 
Night 3 - 9: Aboard Le Boreal
Cruising the Baltic Sea

Le Boreal, a sleek new yacht launching in May of 2010, is small enough to provide a truly intimate cruise experience; her size makes her ideally suited for visiting ports in the Adriatic, the Baltics and along the coast of Iceland that bigger ships can’t reach. Le Boreal sports 6 decks that include Le Restaurant Gastronomique, the elegant main dining room serving French and international cuisine; the casual Le Grill Restaurant; three lounges offering evening entertainment, bars and access to the open decks; Le Théâtre hosting informative lectures and entertainment; a Fitness and Beauty Corner; a Medical Center; and multiple observation areas. Elevators serve all passenger decks. Staterooms (ranging in size from 200 to 210 sq. ft.) and suites (ranging in size from 301 to 398 sq. ft.) have ocean views; 95% have private balconies. Staterooms are decorated by French designers, offering individually controlled air conditioning, twin beds converting to a queen-size bed (or one queen-size bed), DVD / CD player, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, electronic safe and mini bar. 
 
Night 10 & 11: Sheraton Stockholm Hotel
Stockholm, Sweden

The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel is located right in the heart of Stockholm's central business district, close to the City Hall (where the annual Nobel Prize ceremony is held), shopping areas, and the Royal Palace. Enjoy a romantic walk at sunset through the cobblestone alleys and picturesque squares in the Old Town, located just opposite the hotel. Recently renovated, you'll enjoy the warm colors and distinctive Scandinavian design of the guest rooms where sleep is a pleasure in the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper(SM) Bed, with its plush mattress, soft duvet, and crisp white cotton sheets. With wired and wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms, it is easy to stay connected to friends and family while away from home. Next to the bar you'll find the Sheraton Link experienced with Microsoft – a perfect spot to check e-mails or catch up on what to see and do in Stockholm. For food and dining, there's the Threesixty bar and restaurant, providing an international ambiance and dynamic menus.


INCLUSIONS

Tour prices are per person in U.S. dollars. All hotel accommodations, cruise ship transportation, sightseeing, admissions, shore excursions, port fees, luggage handling, most beverages including certain wines, alcohols, beer, juice, soda and water aboard the Seven Seas Voyager cruise ship, and the services of the Tauck Director and ship crew are included. A representative of Tauck will meet you at Copenhagen Airport in Kastrup and provide transportation to the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, regardless of the day or time of your arrival, provided you have furnished us with accurate flight arrival information at least two weeks before the start of your tour. The Tour Operator will also provide you with transportation from the Hilton Stockholm Slussen to Stockholm Arlanda Airport on the day of your departure.

Hotel and Ship Accommodations – Tour Operators price includes all hotel and ship accommodations with private baths. The standard is to provide the best available accommodations without sacrificing value. Although the quality may differ slightly from place to place, this standard remains uncompromised. Two-bedded rooms are reserved in most hotels. Triples are two-bedded rooms and a roll-away cot and are not recommended for comfort. Onboard the Seven Seas Voyager, each suite includes a private balcony, a European king-size bed convertible to twins, a separate sitting area and ultra-spacious marble bathroom with separate shower and full bathtub. A limited number of connecting rooms and triples are available.

Meals – Most meals are included as specified in the itinerary. There are four open-seating main restaurants plus the Pool Grill. A choice of fine, complimentary wine is poured nightly. Room service menu is available 24 hours a day.

Tour Director – St. Petersburg and the Baltic Sea tour is conducted by two Tour Directors who will remain with the group throughout the duration of the tour. Your Tour Directors are professional, fully trained employees of the Tour Operator.

Gratuities Included – All appropriate gratuities for Tour Directors, bellmen, doormen, housekeepers, dining room servers, drivers, ship staff and local guides are included.

No Options Sold - Tour Directors assist with information on free-time activities based on honest opinion and guidance, but they will not sell you anything. This means better value and a more relaxed and pleasant experience for you.
 
Not Included

Airfare to the tour departure point and from the tour ending point is not included. Airfare may be purchased from Tauck for travel originating in the United States.

Hotel Rooms Before and After Tours – To avoid jet lag and possible flight delays, you may wish to make hotel arrangements for the nights preceding or following your tour. As a service, the Tour Operator will book additional nights for you on a space-available basis using special rates only available through them Hotel room charges will be added to the tour cost. If you wish to spend additional nights, please discuss it with the reservations agent when you book your tour.

Luggage Responsibility – Although every effort is made to handle your luggage carefully, we cannot be responsible, assume liability or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakage, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel, airline and group carrier handling. It is important for your own self-interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate insurance to cover these eventualities. Please refer to the Protection Plan for more information.

Personal Expenses – Phone calls, room service, certain alcoholic and bar beverages, laundry and dry cleaning, airline excess luggage charges, vaccinations, certain airport arrival transfers, visa fees, airport and departure taxes, and other optional or incidental extras are not included and may be significant.
