Day 1 DEPART HOME
Overnight flight to Zurich.

Day 2 ARRIVE ZURICH
Welcome to Zurich! After check-in, your Travel Director takes you on an orientation of Switzerland's financial capital. This evening, meet with your fellow travelers and Travel Director for a Welcome Reception and trip briefing.

Day 3 ZURICH - LIECHTENSTEIN - SALZBURG
A scenic drive along Lake Zurich brings you to Liechtenstein where you stop at the capital Vaduz. Follow the Arlberg route into the Tyrol, past the pretty skiing area around St. Johann and the Wilder Kaiser Mountains to Salzburg. This impressive city is dominated by Fortress Hohensalzburg. Tonight, join your companions for a delightful Be My Guest dinner at a local Gasthof.

Day 4 SALZBURG - VIENNA (2 NIGHTS)
Your expert Local Guide shows you a wealth of fascinating sights during your walking tour including Mozart's family house and the Domplatz. Admire breathtaking scenery as you travel past Lake Mondsee and through the Wachau Valley en route to Imperial Vienna.

Day 5 VIENNA SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Vienna is a beautiful city featuring grand palaces and buildings such as State Opera, the Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Parliament and the Imperial Boulevards. Marvel at all these wonderful sights with your expert Local Guide. Stroll through the oldest part of the city - ‘Am Hof’. Spend time afterwards exploring on your own. Tonight, why not visit a nearby village for dinner at a lively 'Heurigen' inn.

Day 6 VIENNA - PIBER STUD FARM - ST. VEIT
Admire galleried courtyards and Renaissance squares in Graz. Visit the Lippizaner Stud Farm at Piber, which breeds athletic white stallions for the Spanish Riding School. Later arrive at your hotel in St. Veit where you dine this evening.

Day 7 ST. VEIT - INNSBRUCK
The Alpine scenery is breathtaking as you drive into Italy via Carbonin and Lake Misurina to the Tre Croci Pass. Explore Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Olympic skiing resort set in the heart of the Dolomites. Traverse spectacular mountain passes as you cross back into Austria. At Innsbruck, admire the Golden Roof, St. Jakob's Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace and the Olympic ski-jump during your orientation tour. Join your fellow travelers this evening for a Highlight Dinner of Tyrolean specialties at a local restaurant.

Day 8 INNSBRUCK - ST. MORITZ
This morning travel over the border into Switzerland and cross the enchanting Engadine. Arrive later in the fashionable winter sports resort of St. Moritz, where you are free this afternoon to explore the pristine landscape!

Day 9 ST. MORITZ - STRESA - ZERMATT (2 NIGHTS)
Traverse Alpine landscapes to Thusis and follow the San Bernadino route to Bellinzona, famous for its three castles. Continue via Locarno to the shores of Lake Maggiore and explore the scenic town Stresa. See the beautiful Borromean Islands as you head towards the Simplon Pass. Arrive later In Zermatt, and enjoy a fondue dinner at your hotel tonight.

Day 10 ZERMATT FREE TIME
Spend your free day relaxing in the shadows of the magnificent Matterhorn or perhaps consider a mountain trip for fantastic views of the surrounding Alpine peaks.

Day 11 ZERMATT - GENEVA - LAKE GENEVA (EVIAN)
A spectacular drive through the Rhône Valley brings you to Lake Geneva where you view Lord Byron's Castle of Chillon. Admire the sights of Geneva during your orientation tour including the Reformation Monument, the old Cathedral, the Jet d’Eau fountain and the United Nations building. Follow the southern shores of Lake Geneva to Evian, renowned for its pure mineral water.

Day 12 LAKE GENEVA (EVIAN) - BERNE - INTERLAKEN - LUCERNE (2 NIGHTS)
Travel via Berne, the Federal capital of Switzerland, to Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, where you see the mighty Jungfrau (subject to weather conditions). Interlaken is one of the oldest and most popular tourist resorts in Switzerland. Cross the Brünig Pass to the charming town of Lucerne.

Day 13 LUCERNE ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME
Lucerne is a beautiful medieval town set against an impressive backdrop of mountains. See the Chapel Bridge and visit the Lion Monument, built in memory of Louis XVI's Swiss Guard, during your orientation tour. Spend free time afterwards exploring the old town, shopping for and chocolates, or consider an excursion up a nearby mountain! Tonight, celebrate with your traveling companions at a Farewell Dinner.

Day 14 ZURICH - HOME
